In 1994, Rheem established a JV in Chengdu,China and run business in Chinese market with brand of EVERHOT. In 2008, it was wholly owned by Rheem Group and officially changed its name to Rheem (China) Water Heater Co., LTD in 2010. The same year, Rheem (China) further promoted the globalization strategy, set up the China region, and built R&D(research and development) Center center and ILC(innovation learning center) in Chengdu headquarter.
